Scholastic books are a fantastic way to get your child reading, and to build a home library on the cheap! This month Scholastic is having a Flash Fall Sale - many popular titles are available under $5! Take some time to discuss which books your child is interested in. You could even choose a book to read together: Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter or even Miss Peregrine are very popular at the moment. Swap reading a page each, or a chapter each out loud. I promise, your child still loves having you read to him/her, and nothing can replace the undivided attention you can give your child by having him/her read to YOU! :) This month's class orders are due Tuesday, October 11th. Check out the Fall Flash Sale HERE!
